 Why Fly in Utah?

Upper Limit Aviation was deliberately located in the beautiful Salt Lake Valley.  We chose Salt Lake as our flight school location because of the unique altitude training environment offered by the

4227' airport elevation. Class B air space, and withe the proximity to the Wasatch Mountains and the desert west of the Great Salt Lake.
Our location and terrain are some of our best selling points.  We believe that high altitude training creates pilots who understand the importance of weight and balance, wind currents, aircraft performance, and energy management.  Pilots gain more precision control flying at or near performance limitations.  In the U.S., altitude flying is vital to a pilot's career.  To obtain approval from the Office of Aircraft Services (OAS) to work on fire contracts, wildlife contracts or carry government employees a pilot must have a substantial number of hours of time over 5,00 ft Density Altitude.
