Helicopter Pilot Training Schools Financing

The need for helicopter pilots continues to grow world wide. There is a void forming due the number of pilots retiring and lack of pilots coming out of helicopter flight schools. The opportunity for an exciting and rewarding education and career is now available to anyone with the desire and drive to achieve the dream of flight. There are several financing options available. Our best recommendation is to Contact Us to discuss your options and the different types of financing available. Financing through Salt Lake Community College

The Salt Lake Community College Aviation Technology Program opens the door for students to obtain funding through many different lenders.  The finanical aid office at the college is friendly and knowledgeable.  Please refer to  http://www.slcc.edu/financialaid/altloans.asp for more information about the financial aid and alternative loan program the Salt Lake Community College has to offer.

Financing through Utah Valley State College

One of the ways Utah Valley State College facilitates student loans is through their alternative loan program which can be viewed at www.uvscaviation.com We have had good luck getting students through the loan application process, and are able to guide them through the steps if they so desire. The alternative loan that UVSC offers is deferred as long as a student is enrolled for 6 credit hours. We do not suggest they register for more than 6 credits due to the time spent helicopter flight training. Upper Limit Aviation has ample instructors and aircraft to keep students studying and flying full time. The full helicopter flight school takes 9-12 months. As a result, the student will have completed flight training and received all financial disbursements before completing all of the UVSC classes.  Also, because all class work is done online, as students work and travel around the country, they can continue studying to complete their associate’s or bachelor’s degree in aviation.

Alternative Loan Financing through Upper Limit Aviation

We encourage all of our students to attend the Salt Lake Community Aviation Technology program or another college program in order to obtain college credit for their helicopter flight training and have access to Government funding such as a Pell Grant and/or a Stafford Loan. However, if you already have a degree or if you are simply not interested in obtaining college credit, then Upper Limit Aviation can also provide you with alternative financing to cover the cost of training. We do provide financing through SLM Financial, A Sallie Mae Company as well as other lenders.  Please Contact us for more information about financing.
