Facility / Training History
Built during WWII for use by the United States Air Force, Upper Limit's hangar is located in General Aviation Access One at the Salt Lake International Airport (SLC). Its closest neighbors include the Utah Air National Guard, AirMed and many privately owned hangars.
Acquired under a long-term lease with Salt Lake Airports, Upper Limit began remodeling its current hangar in 2004 to include administrative space and our Robinson Service Center.
Upper Limit Aviation helicopter training fleet consists Robinson R22 and R44 models as well as Bell 206 series aircraft. In conjunction with the R44, instructors utilize a FlyIt simulator for instrument training.
Our utility aircraft include Bell 206 B & L series aircraft, as well as an R44 Raven II.
