I have been working slowly at putting in a Warrant officer packet during my time in the Army, but I have been so busy, that I have only made it about halfway. My final deadline for submitting it is Aug 6 of this year, and I will not get it done by then. This is fine with me, as I have discovered you all. My plan is to use as much of the benefits that I enlisted for (roughly 63k) and whatever else the army will pay for to get as much of an education in flying as possible. I think I have the best shot at doing that with you guys. It has been my dream for many years to learn to fly, and I know I will do very well at it. I realize that 11 months is a long time, but believe me, it is an oh-so-short time also.</p> <p>Anyway.. You all called me about a month back, I apologize for missing that call. I had meant to return the call, but I lost the number. I plan to palace chase and go reserves when I get back so I can devote my time to school. It will be so nice though because the gi bill will pay almost all of it! In the military we work hard, but it definitely pays off in the end.
