Upper Limit’s flight training program introduces students to flying in mountain terrain and to the unique wind and weather conditions associated with it. All courses are taught at high-density altitudes (above 5,000 ft.), allowing for increased instruction in power management and aircraft operation in power and lift limited situations.

Located at the Salt Lake International Airport (SLC), ULA operates in Class Bravo (B) airspace. This offers students daily practice in communication with air traffic control in busy and highly regulated airspace.

FAR Part 141 special curricula courses are also offered by ULA, they include: Turbine Transition, External Load, Mountain Flying, R44 Transition, and SFAR 73 Transition.
